Despite celebrating Super Sentai’s 40th anniversary, Toei decided against creating another Gokaiger-like series and kept its celebratory season streamlined into just a standard Sentai show with the exception of a two-part crossover with the Gokaigers to commemorate the show’s 2,000th episode.
