Tonight is the grand finale to Garoween Month!! It has been nine years since Goldstorm Sho aired, which saw Keita Amemiya tackle the Ryuga universe for the first time, giving us what may be the best Garo series to date. 2018 brought us a follow-up film titled God’s Fang, which pit Ryuga against a resurrected Zinga. And that was the last time we ever saw Ryuga. Since then, there was a Zinga spin-off, an unconnected Garo series set in a VR game, and a movie that teamed Raiga up with his dad and grandfather for a final adventure. So, at long last, we are finally getting a grand send-off to the Ryuga universe, or so it seems, with the series that came out earlier this year titled Heir to Steel Armor. Heir to Steel Armor is the third season to Ryuga’s story written by Norikatsu Kodama, meaning Amemiya is absent yet again for another Ryuga journey. Is Heir to Steel Armor on par with Goldstorm Sho?
