To celebrate its 45th series Toei once again sought Junko Komura to helm the show given her success with Zyuohger and Lupinranger vs Patranger. One of the originally planned names was Sentai Sentai Sentaiger before Toei realized that was probably not a great move, changing it to Kikai Sentai Zenkaiger. Unlike Gokaiger, the decision was made for Zenkaiger to NOT feature a multitude of crossovers with past teams, instead, relegating those to the movies while having attacks just be a reference of some sort to those previous shows. Is Zenkaiger worthy of its anniversary slot or should this one have been locked away for something better? Watch to find out.
